A long established Fish and Chip Restaurant – reputed to be one of the finest, it certainly delivers a fantastic experience. They do not take bookings and it is not uncommon to have to queue to secure a table inside. The restaurant is large and the wait is never long and always worth your time. The swifter option is to order ‘take away’ from the kitchen. You wait 10 -15 mins (quick drink in the George next door?) and you pay after your fish has been weighed………..and now SQ has open opposite! This restaurant is run by the same local family and opened in summer 2014 and it set over two floors with a very comfortable and well stocked bar downstairs, dining area upstairs and a roof terrace. The establishment is luxurious, the food is delicious and the service is friendly and efficient.
