The Cottage
Welcome to Silver Cottage Bed and Breakfast, a self-contained Grade II listed cottage providing tranquillity, privacy and expansive views of valleys, woodland and gardens.
Located in sweeping valleys and woodland close to the bustling village of Braunton, Silver Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a picturesque Grade ll listed cottage set amongst beautiful terraced gardens. With a five-star rating from guests on TripAdvistor, the cottage is owned by Sophie and Matt. We live in an adjacent home and are always available to provide the warmest welcome, friendly assistance and daily housekeeping.
The cottage is self-contained to ensure our visitors enjoy complete tranquillity and privacy. Behind its own front door, Silver Cottage features a sitting room, kitchenette and dining room on the ground floor, while two modern double bedrooms share a luxury shower room and WC upstairs.
Every detail is designed to provide endless comfort, including crisp White Company bedding, fantastically comfortable beds and fresh scented flowers. Our delicious breakfasts incorporate fresh produce -- much of it homegrown or local -- as well as homemade jams and honey from our own hives.
French windows lead to a private sun terrace filled with flowering plants and appointed with a table and chairs. In the kitchenette, you’ll find teamaking facilities, a fridge, microwave, tableware and cutlery. Guests who would like to eat a homecooked evening meal in our own cottage next door just need to let us know within 24 hours of arrival.
There’s ample storage space for your kit – walking boots, bikes, surfboards and the like – as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer. Outside, there is space to park one small car, with more on-street parking typically available just down the road.
